THE SHORT VERSION

WEAR SOMETHING THAT WORKS. WEAR SOMETHING WORTH WEARING.

Hand-finished acetate frames, CLÆR SPECTRUM™ Japanese optical lenses that filters blue-violet light without tinting your screen yellow.

First Edition · 550 Pairs
DESK-FIT, NOT DESK-COMPROMISE

OFFICE FASHION HAS A NEW STAPLE. THIS ONE WAS BUILT FOR SCREEN TIME.

For too long, screen-time eyewear has looked like it belongs at a desk rather than in your wardrobe. SOL, VERA, and NORD are crafted as timeless eyewear first, with blue light protection as a feature, not the defining characteristic.

WHAT WE CLAIM (AND WHAT WE DON'T)

THE HONEST NOTE MOST OF THIS CATEGORY SKIPS.

CLÆR SPECTRUM™ lenses are engineered to filter blue-violet light and feature a premium anti-reflective coating designed for screen-heavy lifestyles. That’s exactly what we claim and exactly what our lens testing supports.

What we won’t claim is just as important. We won’t tell you these glasses eliminate eye strain, improve your sleep, or replace healthy screen habits. The evidence simply doesn’t support making promises like that.

One thing worth knowing: any lens that genuinely filters blue-violet light will show a very subtle tint when viewed against a plain white background. That’s a characteristic of the optics and not a flaw. When worn or viewed against a screen, which is what the lenses are designed for, they appear clear and natural

THE UNBOXING

THE OBJECT DOESN'T STOP AT THE FRAME.

From the machined aluminium tube to the soft suede pouch, every element has been designed with the same attention to detail as the eyewear itself. Nothing is disposable. Nothing is an afterthought.

BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO WERE TIRED OF THE TRADE-OFF.
WHY THIS EXISTS

BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO WERE TIRED OF THE TRADE-OFF.

PROJECT CLÆR was founded by web designer Marta Alexandrovna and her husband and co-founder, Aristote.

The idea began over yum cha in Sydney, where they were living at the time. After years spent working in front of screens, they found themselves choosing between lenses that noticeably altered screen colours and frames that looked more clinical than contemporary. Neither felt like something they’d genuinely want to wear every day.

Over the following year, they developed PROJECT CLÆR around a simple principle: create eyewear that people would choose for its design alone, then engineer the lenses to filter blue-violet light without the heavy yellow cast common to many alternatives.

The result is a collection of fashion-led acetate frames paired with CLÆR SPECTRUM™️ lenses designed for designers, founders, creatives and professionals whose work happens largely on screens.

Now based in Melbourne, PROJECT CLÆR has launched its First Edition as a limited production of just 550 pairs.

From the beginning, the philosophy has been simple: be transparent about what the product does, equally honest about what it doesn’t, and never ask people to compromise between design, colour accuracy and thoughtful engineering.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
“I have worn blue-light glasses, but I never found a pair I genuinely wanted to wear. Many lenses noticeably changed the colours on my screen, and most frames felt designed purely for function rather than everyday style. As a designer, colour accuracy matters. I wanted eyewear that looked refined enough to wear to the office, a client meeting or a café. All without compromising the way my work appeared on screen."
